We are looking for a Barista/Cafe Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join Coombe Wood School and become an integral member of the Catering team. Greenshaw Learning Trust is a highly successful multi-academy trust that provides excellent quality, comprehensive, non-selective, and inclusive education through primary and secondary schools. Main responsibilities:
Management of monthly food safety audits Responsible for the day-to-day management and running of the school’s sports café services Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements in respect of finance, hygiene, health & safety, school policies, procedures, and regulations Work with GLT’s Regional Catering Manager on the implementation of new food products and train café personnel Demonstrate practical food knowledge incorporating contemporary, traditional, and new café food trends Inspire and motivate café personnel through excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills Proactively seek information on new initiatives to enhance customer service and food experience Develop a comprehensive understanding of the café’s finances You will need:
