Job Description:
This position maintains maintenance activities at UPS package handling facilities. Provides inspection, troubleshooting, adjusting, and replaces electrical equipment, mechanical components, and pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding equipment. This position performs preventive maintenance inspections of plant equipment such as conveyors, bulk carts, and power industrial equipment. Also performs other tasks as requested. Must be flexible with call-outs and working overtime. Contracted to 8 hours a day however the ideal candidate must be flexible with start and finish times. All overtime is paid at a higher rate. Salary dependent on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:
Responds to internal customers
Responds to facility alarms and emergencies
Troubleshoots problems that arise
Performs preventative maintenance
Responsible for 11 sites across London and the South East
Travel between sites
Qualifications/What you will need:
Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in engineering or proven extensive experience
Electrical qualifications is preferable
Programming experience including troubleshooting, basic understanding of networks and motor control theory
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and computer literate
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and elementary diagrams
Mechanical experience with conveyor systems doing PMI's and troubleshooting
Must have a clean driving licence
Must be able to travel between sites
Must be able to work under pressure
Experience with working alone and can use initiative
Must be able to multi-task
Must be up for the challenge
