24/4 Weekend Nanny
for two boys, both aged 3 years. The family is based near Battersea Park and the Albert Bridge. The boys attend a nursery school nearby and will also attend Pre-Prep in Battersea. Hours:
Friday AM - Tuesday AM + some occasional travel. The nanny will be contracted to provide ‘24hr-on-call’ care, 18 days per month. Usual working hours will be 24 hours per day, from Friday AM to Tuesday AM (4 days per week), with occasional flexibility required for family travel. The nanny will start work on Friday morning in time for nursery pick up and finish on Tuesday morning after school drop off, handing over to the Housekeeper who works Monday to Friday for the family. During the holidays, the nanny will occasionally travel full charge with the boys to Boston, USA, for a week to visit other family. Accommodation there includes a bedroom and bathroom. The family also spends time at a country estate in the North of England, where the nanny should be comfortable with outdoor pursuits and animals. There is travel to another residence in St Moritz for skiing and summer activities. The nanny must be comfortable in both country and city settings, be well-travelled with children, and be happy to take sole charge of the boys. The boys enjoy playing football in the park, games, and spending time with animals at the estate. The current Norland nanny has established a great schedule with the children. Routine, planning, and a proactive, fun personality are essential. The boys are bright, active, engaging, and well-adjusted at nursery school. A driver is essential; the nanny will have her own car in London (automatic) and in Switzerland (manual), so a full driving license is important.
