Cell Failure Analysis Engineer

will: Lead all the cell failure analysis activities. Develop methodology and techniques to identify failure modes in cells. Prepare and manage procedures, methodology, equipment, and protocols for all cell failure analysis activities. Perform root cause analysis of various problems appearing during the manufacturing process of cells leading to suboptimal cell performance. Create technical reports for customer projects to be delivered up to board level. The

Cell Failure Analysis Engineer

will have: Master's Degree or PhD in electrochemistry or other related discipline. 3 or more years of direct industrial experience in lithium-ion battery industry for both laboratory and commercial-grade cells (such as 21700 and/or pouch cells). Skills in various electrochemical techniques such as impedance spectroscopy (EIS), cyclic voltammetry (CV), galvanostatic cycling (GC), galvanostatic intermittent titration techniques (GITT or PITT), DQ/DV etc. Experience of various material characterisation techniques such as SEM, EDS, XRD, GCMS, TGA, DSC etc. Results driven with the ability to deliver operational plans in a highly demanding environment.
