Battery Development Engineer required to join an automotive vehicle battery and battery pack research design and development team on battery prototype build and testing processes. Skills: Battery assembly and test. Hands-on experience with battery cell assembly, module assembly, and pack assembly. Battery cycling testing, thermal testing, and electrical testing. Laboratory experience and knowledge of safety procedures and regulations. Associate's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Responsibilities: Working as part of a team that designs, engineers, and manufactures automotive battery pack systems. Battery prototyping, cell, module, and pack assembly. Design, plan, and build test rigs with associated hardware. Conduct battery performance experiments, cycling, thermal, and electrical tests. Maintain laboratory equipment and tools. Continuously improve battery build and testing processes.
