Battery Test Engineer

to join their team. Job Description: As a

Battery Test Engineer , your main responsibilities are: Focusing on the efficient delivery of quality assured test data in support of the development and design verification (DV) of the Clients' HV Traction Battery Systems. Operating across the facility planning test activities, coordinating workflow, and leading problem-solving activities to ensure the satisfaction of customer test requests, while ensuring adherence to the Clients' safety policies and procedures. Preparing the test facility, test automation routines, and test parts for assigned test phases, and delivering data from planned tests in support of design release activity or technology advancement. Providing quality assured data and supporting customer teams with data analysis and interpretation. Skills Needed: Experience with test automation and data acquisition systems (e.g., LYNX, National Instruments LabVIEW, MATLAB, Maccor, Arbin, CAPL). Experience with CAN communication tools (e.g., Vector CANoe/CANape). Technical expertise and experience in test facility operations and system under test preparation. A working knowledge of HV powertrain configuration and energy storage technologies. Significant experience with data acquisition and control systems. Significant experience in data analysis and reporting of test data. Strong knowledge of Health and Safety requirements, Risk Assessment, COSHH, and SDS. The ability to validate, prepare, and read engineering documents. Computer literate (especially Microsoft Office) to produce plans, reports, presentations, and process documentation.
