Business Central Functional Consultant / Hybrid / £700 p/d Outside IR35
An excellent opportunity has arisen with an innovative and fast-growing flooring retailer for an experienced Business Central Functional Analyst to join their team and take ownership of the deployment, configuration, and ongoing improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
This position will focus on aligning the ERP system with business objectives, streamlining operations, and improving overall efficiency. The ideal candidate will work closely with key stakeholders, manage new projects, and drive continuous enhancements to optimize the platform for organizational needs.
Role and Responsibilities:
Lead and participate in the implementation of new features in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This includes gathering requirements, documenting processes, system configuration, user testing, and supporting a smooth go live. Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate existing processes, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend ERP-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Customize and configure Business Central to meet specific business requirements, workflows, and reporting needs. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate Business Central with other applications and oversee data migration efforts. Conduct training sessions for end-users and provide ongoing support to resolve user-related issues. Monitor system performance, implement updates, and address areas for improvement. Design and create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making. Ensure the ERP system is secure and compliant with relevant regulations and policies.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as an ERP Analyst, particularly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ideally in a large retail organization. Strong understanding of ERP concepts, processes, and best practices. Proficiency in configuring and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Solid experience with ERP integration, data migration, and reporting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into ERP solutions. ERP certifications (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) are a plus.
