We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Nurse Practitioner to join our bed management team at Salford Care Organisation (SCO).

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse, with extensive proven post qualification experience, who is ready to take on a new challenge within bed management, organising both elective and non-elective flow throughout the organisation.

Main duties of the job The applicant must be able to motivate staff to achieve high standards of care and possess excellent communication skills to ensure that the aims of the Trust are achieved, ensuring the Trust's philosophy of Safe, Clean and Personal Care.

The post holder will be responsible for daily coordinating the efficient use of beds, enabling transfers of an effective, safe, and satisfactory experience for patients moving throughout the site.

Enthusiasm and commitment to developing a quality service is essential for this post, alongside an in-depth knowledge of hospital systems and flow, and the ability to motivate, influence, and support medical teams and nursing staff.

Suitable applicants will need to hold current NMC registration and have considerable experience in an acute clinical setting.
