How would you describe yourself as a hard-working behaviour mentor available to start working as soon as possible? In the event that you have answered YES to any of the above questions, this is the perfect Behaviour Mentor role for you! About the role: As a Behaviour Mentor in a secondary school in Barnet, you will have the opportunity to work with young people in various settings. A minimum of one year's experience as a behaviour mentor or in a similar role is required. Your responsibilities will include supporting children who exhibit challenging behaviour, providing both 1:1 and group support. You will work with a variety of children with different needs, such as ADHD, SEMH, SEN, and other challenging behaviours. It is essential that the ideal Behaviour Mentor is quick on their feet and proactive in handling complex situations. Experience with Team-Tech and physical handling training is advantageous. About the School: The outstanding secondary school located in Barnet is seeking a Behaviour Mentor with experience to join their supportive and dedicated team to facilitate student behaviour. The team is looking for a Behaviour Mentor who can bring new ideas and strategies. You will have support from the senior leadership team, other behaviour mentors, SENDco, and pastoral support workers.
