Behaviour Mentor
Location: Boston Start Date: January 2025 Salary: £85 - £120 per day
Are you passionate about mentoring students and making a positive impact? A secondary school in Boston is seeking a full-time Behaviour Mentor to support students in overcoming barriers to their education.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with students who exhibit challenging behaviour to foster positive relationships and build trust. Provide one-to-one and small group interventions. Support teachers in implementing behaviour management strategies. Act as a role model and mentor to encourage positive attitudes and behaviours. Collaborate with staff and parents to monitor and improve students' overall progress.
Requirements: Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role. Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies. Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. Resilience, empathy, and strong communication skills. Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
