Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people? A supportive and inclusive school in Edgware is looking for a motivated Behaviour Mentor to join their team and help students overcome barriers to learning.
The Role As a Behaviour Mentor, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with challenging behaviour or emotional needs. Help students build self-confidence, develop social skills, and adopt positive behaviours. Assist teachers and SEN teams in implementing behaviour management strategies. Act as a role model, fostering resilience and a growth mindset in students.
The Ideal Candidate We are seeking someone who: Has experience working with children or young people, particularly those with behavioural or emotional challenges. Is patient, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with students. Possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Can remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively.
Experience in education, youth work, or working with SEN students is highly desirable.
