Behaviour Mentor , you will provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils, helping them overcome barriers to learning and build confidence. Whether assisting in the classroom or working in focused interventions, your role will be to inspire and empower pupils to succeed.
What You'll Do as a Behaviour Mentor: Support pupils with challenging behaviour to manage emotions and engage positively in their learning. Work 1:1 or in small groups to deliver tailored interventions that address individual needs. Foster a positive and supportive environment, acting as a role model for pupils. Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to develop strategies that support pupil progress. Adapt to different school settings, bringing enthusiasm and a proactive attitude.
What We're Looking For: Experience working with pupils with
challenging behaviour
or additional needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH). A patient, empathetic approach and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A flexible and adaptable attitude, ready to work in various schools across Enfield. A passion for helping children overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
