We are currently seeking a passionate Behaviour Mentor to join a thriving secondary school in Derby. This is an exciting opportunity to support and guide students in a supportive and dynamic environment. The Role: We are looking for a motivated Behaviour Mentor to work closely with students at KS3 and KS4 levels. In this temp role, you will be responsible for supporting students to overcome barriers to learning, promoting positive behaviour, and contributing to the wider school community. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring to students with behavioural challenges.

Develop and implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

Support teachers in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Liaise with parents, guardians, and colleagues to support student success and wellbeing.

Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback to staff and stakeholders as needed.

Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following minimum criteria: Experience: Experience working with young people in an educational or mentoring capacity, with a good understanding of the challenges faced by students at KS3 and KS4 levels.

Training: Completed a Certificate relating to Behaviour Management.

Familiarity with safeguarding policies and procedures.

Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
