Behaviour Mentor Southwark, London - SEMH school - long term role - competitive daily rate Responsibilities:

Assist in managing classroom behaviour and developing individual behaviour plans. Offer one-on-one support to students facing behavioural challenges. Provide tailored support to students who are at risk of exclusion or disengagement. Deliver strategies to encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation. Monitor and track progress of students on individual behaviour plans. Collaborate with teaching staff, senior leadership, and external agencies to support students. Organise and facilitate group or individual sessions to address behavioural and emotional needs. Support students during break times and transitions to ensure a safe, inclusive environment. About You - Behaviour Mentor - Southwark

Experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural or emotional challenges. A strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and techniques. The ability to build trust and rapport with students, helping them feel supported and motivated. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies. A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Patience, empathy, and resilience in the face of challenging situations.
