BEHAVIOUR MENTOR – Lambeth Are you a passionate and dedicated behaviour mentor? Do you have experience working with students with SEND? Do you have the ability to make an impact in the life of a child from a disadvantaged background? If your answer to these questions is yes, then this is the role for you! £85-£95 per day AWR compliant rates of pay. Immediate start available Requirements Immediate right to work in the UK. Experience of working with students with SEND within a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) setting, or within a mainstream school. A patient and understanding approach. A flexible approach. Excellent communication skills. Existing DBS check on the update service. Experience of augmentative and alternative communication (PECS, Makaton, Intensive Interaction, Rapid Prompting Method) are beneficial, but not essential. Responsibilities To work alongside the class teachers to ensure the school behavior policy is adhered to. Be aware of and remain responsible for all safeguarding of pupils within your care. Work collaboratively with both teaching and support staff to ensure best outcomes for students. Foster the student’s independence. Promote wellbeing and good welfare.
