Teaching Personnel is seeking a Behavioural Mentor to join our team, supporting pupils with learning and behavioural difficulties in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. About the Role:

As a Behavioural Mentor, you’ll support pupils in mainstream classrooms and resource bases, fostering their academic and emotional development. Your role will include: Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils. Supporting pupils to manage emotions and behaviour effectively. Creating a safe and encouraging environment for learning and growth. Delivering tailored one-on-one and small-group interventions. What We’re Looking For:

Confidence in managing challenging behaviour with empathy and understanding. An engaging and positive communication style. Passion for helping students overcome challenges and achieve success. Requirements:

Fluent Welsh speaker. Right to work in the UK. Two professional references. Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this). EWC registration (support provided). No Experience? No Problem! You don’t need prior experience working with learning or behavioural difficulties—just a passion for making a difference. Our partner schools provide full training and guidance to help you succeed.
