What the role involves

• BS31 focuses on some children need a little extra support to feel safe, settled and ready to learn.
• Protocol Education are working with welcoming schools in BS31 who are looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join them after half term.
• Be helping pupils build confidence, self-belief and the tools to succeed.

Confirmed role details

• Has experience supporting children or young people with SEMH/SEN needs (experience with ADHD, ASD or trauma-informed practice would be a real bonus, but not essential).

Candidate fit

• Encouraging positive behaviour and celebrating progress, big and small.

Additional role context

• Working closely with class teachers, SENCO and pastoral staff.
• Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups.
