Do you thrive in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Specialist to join our nurturing and inclusive mainstream school located in the LE13 area. This full-time role offers a chance to work closely with a small group of 6 pupils with SEMH needs, while also supporting interventions, one-to-one (1:1) sessions, and classroom activities across the school. What You'll Do:
Provide tailored support for a small group of students with SEMH needs, helping them achieve their full potential. Deliver focused interventions and one-to-one sessions to boost student confidence and progress. Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom needs and ensure a positive learning environment. Use your expertise to promote and manage positive behaviours, fostering resilience and emotional wellbeing. Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students. What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children with SEMH needs or behavioural challenges, ideally in a school setting. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and positive relationships with students, staff, and families. A proactive, compassionate, and patient approach to supporting children's individual needs. Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and intervention techniques.
