Behaviour Support Worker

to join our team at a special school catering to primary and secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who wants to make a real difference in the lives of young people and help them reach their full potential. Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs Build strong relationships with pupils, fostering trust and encouraging positive behaviours Support the development of individual behaviour plans, ensuring that students feel safe and understood Collaborate with teaching staff, families, and external agencies to create an inclusive, nurturing environment Contribute to the development of a stimulating and supportive classroom environment Minimum Requirements:

Prior experience in education, social care, or a similar support role Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with students, staff, and families Knowledge and experience of working with young people with SEMH or additional needs A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to behaviour management Ability to remain flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment A commitment to providing high-quality support and contributing positively to the school community Benefits:
