PK Education is working with a number of primary schools in Bradford who are looking for
Behaviour Support Workers
to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to children, particularly those facing disadvantage and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs. What’s the role about? You will work alongside a supportive and dynamic team, providing one-on-one and group support to pupils across different age groups with additional behavioural needs. The role will involve: Supporting children with SEMH needs, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and engaged in their learning. Applying
confident and strong behaviour management techniques
to maintain a positive classroom environment. Encouraging a positive mindset and supporting children in developing resilience, confidence, and emotional regulation. Embracing the
beautiful chaos
that comes with a busy classroom, staying calm and focused in the face of challenging situations. Working closely with teachers and the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to create personalised support plans. What are we looking for? Experience
working with children with SEMH, special needs, or challenging behaviour - this is a must! Confidence and strength in behaviour management
- you should have proven strategies and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Patience, resilience, and a sense of humour
- the ability to build positive relationships with children, even in the most testing circumstances. A genuine passion for making a
real impact
