Are you an experienced Behavioural Mentor with a passion for supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Behavioural Mentor to join our team at a Secondary SEN School in Enfield (EN3). Long-term Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs, helping them manage behaviour and emotions in the classroom and beyond. Work closely with teachers and support staff to create and implement positive behaviour strategies. Build strong, trusting relationships with students, acting as a role model and offering guidance to help them navigate challenges. Support students with strategies to develop social and emotional skills, promoting their independence and personal growth. Engage students in restorative practices to improve their behaviour and communication skills. Ideal Candidate:

DBS clearance is essential. Experience working with SEMH, behavioural issues, or in Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) is highly preferred. Previous experience in roles such as prison officers, sports coaches, youth counsellors, or youth workers will also be considered. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and manage challenging situations calmly and effectively. A passion for helping students with SEMH needs achieve their full potential. Ability to commit to a long-term, full-time role.
