Experience / Knowledge / Skills Required Key Responsibilities Clean and prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, and priming as needed. Mask off areas that should not be painted to ensure precise application. Select appropriate paints, coatings, or finishes based on job requirements. Apply paint or coatings evenly and consistently using various tools (brushes, rollers, spray guns). Ensure proper coverage and finish quality, making any necessary adjustments. Operate and maintain spray painting equipment, including spray guns and booths. Inspect finished doors for flaws, such as drips, streaks, or uneven coating. Make touch-ups or corrections as needed to meet quality standards. Verify that colours and finishes match specifications. Maintain and clean painting equipment regularly to ensure functionality. Report any equipment malfunctions or repair needs promptly. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling paints, solvents, and other chemicals. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Keep work area clean and organised. Complete production reports and documentation accurately. Job Types:

Competitive rates of pay negotiable on experience. Experience: Carpentry: 3 years (preferred). Paint Sprayer required to spray high quality wood windows, doors, and other wooden items to a high standard with a water-based paint system. Previous experience with air-assisted airless gun would be advantageous but all training will be given as part of the job. Applicants must be self-motivated and able to work on their own or as part of a team. Spray shop experience with traditional joinery (preferred).
