Position: Bench Joiner
Location: Wolverhampton
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 14:00pm
Hourly Wage: 14.50 - 15 per hour
Overview: Our esteemed client is currently in search of an experienced Workshop Operative to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembling joints. Finishing tasks such as sanding and applying patterns. Priming painting surfaces. Installing hardwood lipping's and rebates. Treating hardwood lipping's with Osmo. Matching, sizing, and cutting veneers. Sanding door faces and veneers. Installing glazing and window beads. Checking specification sheets for required ironmongery. Installing ironmongery. Pre-hanging doors in the workshop prior to dispatch to ensure a perfect fit on site. Familiarizing yourself with upcoming jobs. Identifying and addressing potential discrepancies to prevent manufacturing delays. Regularly reviewing and checking sizes and specifications against the product being worked on to avoid errors early in the process.
