Patient Benefit Risk and Medical Safety Unit team

to be based in one of our hubs in

Braine l'Alleud, Belgium; Slough, UK or Raleigh, US .

About the role:

The Benefit Risk Scientist will be responsible for providing scientific, analytical, procedural expertise and support for benefit-risk assessments and risk management activities for assigned assets/candidates.

Who you'll work with:

You will work transversally with multiple UCB stakeholders to collaborate on the implementation of strategies to manage the Benefit Risk Assessment Plan for assigned assets/candidates.

What you'll do: Analyze and interpret various sources of safety data (e.g. regulatory, clinical, submission, legal, product quality) to identify potential new risks for the Benefit Risk Assessment Plan. Implement safety monitoring and risk management strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Lead preparation of safety writing deliverables, including planning, contributing to analysis strategy, writing, presentation and review/approval of documents. Interested? For this role we're looking for the following education, experience, and skills: Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree or Ph. D. Knowledge in clinical development, pharmacovigilance, safety writing and risk management. Excellent English scientific writing and communication skills.
