– Due to regular travel, the role does require access to transport (i.e. daily commutes, multi-site travel on occasion). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive community-based debt advice service to people on probation or leaving custody. What you will be doing? Delivering a suite of workshops to individuals and/or groups of Service Users. Preparing & agreeing individual action plans. To be successful you will require: Working with local probation services & supporting service users with finance, benefit and debt assessments and action plans. Experience of working with vulnerable/challenging people; utilizing strong interpersonal skills supporting individuals with ever-changing complex needs. Evidence of Case Management (i.e. dealing with multiple people, having difficult conversations, providing tailored solutions relating to people with ‘lived experience). Successful candidates must be non-judgmental, open-minded and honest when dealing with service users.
