My client is a leading manufacturer of materials handling solutions based in Cinderford, Gloucestershire who is now looking to hire a Design Engineer to bolster their established team. The ideal candidate will have a background in Design Engineering, be experienced with Trumpf laser production machines and will have an understanding of 2D design. Undertaking a mix of 2D and 3D design work for manufacture Maintaining and updating the company design database Creating Bills of Materials Taking on feedback from the shop floor to rectify any issues at the pre-production stage Assisting with other office duties as required

Previous experience in a Mechanical Design role is essential High level of proficiency in AutoCAD - experienced in creating new drawings and amending existing ones Experience with Trumpf Laser cutting systems would be beneficial Experience with 2D Design beneficial Able to read and interpret Engineering diagrams Based within a commutable distance of Cinderford
Design Engineer Salary & Benefits
Salary £32,000 - 35,000 DOE 31 days holiday inclusive of public holidays Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 Pension Free parking
