Our client is a well-established, multisite accountancy practice group that is recruiting for a senior manager to join their senior management team on a full-time basis in their Altrincham, Trafford office. This is an excellent opportunity for a fully ACCA/ACA qualified senior accountant with at least 5 years PQE to work closely with the practice directors and provide a hands-on service to a portfolio of OMBs. This position is well suited to an accounts senior, Accounts Manager, client portfolio handler or Assistant Manager looking for a varied and rewarding management role. Senior Client Manager Job Overview This is a hands-on accounting role as well as a people management role. The job holder will be managing a team of accounts staff and tracking job progress and WIP/billing targets. Managing a portfolio of predominantly owner-managed businesses. Provide financial advice and deal with queries from a range of clients. Monitoring deadlines and ensuring all work is completed on time and to an excellent standard. Assisting colleagues and guiding trainee accountants within the team. Preparing or reviewing accounts and corporation tax returns. Senior Client Manager Job Requirements Use of computer software including IRIS, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks. Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with at least 5 years of post-qualified experience in a practice environment. Excellent reporting and communication skills. Client-facing with excellent business acumen. A full UK driving license is essential to meet the needs of our clients. Strong people management experience and the desire to drive and lead a team of individuals. Senior Client Manager Salary & Benefits £54,000 - £60,000 per annum. 36 days of holiday, inclusive of bank/public holidays and Christmas closure. Flexible working. Employee assistance program.
