Tax Senior Job Overview
Processing self-assessment and personal tax returns efficiently and accurately. Preparing and completing P11D forms. Communicating with colleagues from other departments, clients, and HMRC by telephone, email, and in writing where required. Ad-hoc assistance with tax queries and projects.
Tax Senior Job Requirements
CTA qualified/part-qualified. Previous experience working in an accountancy practice, with the ability to manage client relationships independently. Strong technical expertise in personal tax and capital allowances for sole traders and partnerships. Sound tax advisory knowledge. Owner managed businesses and families covering IHT, CGT, Income Tax and Company Tax issues is desirable but not essential. Experience of corporate restructuring desirable but not essential. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Proficiency in self-assessment software essential.
Tax Senior Salary & Benefits
£35,000-£40,000 basic salary (depending on experience). 21 days annual leave + 4 day Christmas shutdown + bank holidays. Hybrid working. Option to finish at 2pm on Fridays. Quarterly solutions. Foodie Fridays. Fully funded CTA study package including paid study days, revision days and exam days.
