based in London . This role offers an exciting opportunity to improve housing standards in the private rented sector, ensuring safe, well-managed, and well-maintained homes. Key Details: Start Date:

09/03/2025 Key Responsibilities: Investigate complaints and manage cases related to private sector housing. Utilize enforcement tools such as HMO Licensing, Improvement Notices, Final Management Orders, and Banning Orders. Promote landlord accreditation and grants to improve housing standards. Prepare reports, specifications, and legal documentation for enforcement actions. Attend court or tribunals and participate in PACE interviews as necessary. About You: We are looking for candidates with: A qualification as an Environmental Health Officer (EHRB/Chartered status) or recent graduates working towards this certification. Detailed knowledge of the Housing Act 2004 and relevant legislation, with experience applying it to casework. A solid understanding of housing construction, energy efficiency improvements, and customer-focused service delivery. Strong communication skills to explain complex issues clearly to diverse stakeholders. Experience collaborating with internal and external partners to resolve housing-related issues.
