The Role Are you an experienced Business Intelligence Developer with the drive to provide high quality data solutions in an industry leading organisation? We’ve got a great opportunity to join our Technology & Transformation team, where you’ll be involved in designing, implementing and supporting effective BI and ETL solutions. You’ll contribute to the success of the organisation by designing, developing and delivering Business Intelligence solutions; from eliciting and defining stakeholder needs, to delivering solutions and ongoing support and maintenance. You will be influential in identifying the correct platform and tools to deliver data warehousing, analytic platforms and visualisation tools. A key part of role this is interfacing with internal stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of cyclical projects; being the technical expert in the project team and presenting demos of tools and platforms. Our Ideal Candidate? We’re looking for a delivery focused individual with an analytical approach and the ability to understand complex issues and identify suitable solutions to ensure continuous improvement. You’ll also be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: Relevant experience in data warehousing / modelling and optimisation, with an understanding of ETL processes Experience of using Power BI data models and reports Experience of Azure Data Factory, Databricks and advanced knowledge of SQL Finally, you’ll be confident engaging with all levels of stakeholders, with the ability to translate and communicate technical themes into understandable solutions. In this role you’ll have the flexibility to work from home for up to 2 days a week dependent on the needs of the business.
