Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Data Visualisation expert to join our team and play a crucial role in the development and implementation of our industry-leading solutions and platforms. You will be responsible for designing, deploying and maintaining best-in-class technology-agnostic designs to showcase our client’s data. You will collaborate closely with other experts in the Colibri Digital team to create a robust and efficient cloud environment that supports our business needs and those of our clients. The role is 100% remote, however there is the opportunity to work with our clients and partners on occasion. Key Responsibilities Expert knowledge and ability to manipulate and review large quantities of complex data. Ability to interpret data and translate complex material into easily understandable conclusions. Eliciting client needs through non-jargon ridden conversation and vague requirements, translating them into elegant solutions that clearly articulate business outcomes and benefits. Be confident in being a trusted advisor to our clients, looking out for clients’ needs and being able to sell in a consultative manner evangelising the value of data and a cloud-first approach. Be adaptive to the client audience and able to craft your message from detailed orientated technical specialists through to the c suite. Ability to conduct training sessions and workshops to empower internal and external end-users to leverage Power BI functionality effectively. Ability to interpret a wide variety of data visualisations such as bar charts, line charts, pie charts, scatterplots, heatmaps and others. Attend and contribute to all required team meetings, stakeholder meetings, standups etc. Communicate clearly with team members, stakeholders and clients in English. Requirements Proven experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, QlikSense, Tableau, Looker, Sisense). Proficient with SQL for the generation and extraction of data for use in analytics and reporting. Experience working with Databricks is essential. Experience with Python, R or Spark is highly beneficial though not essential. A good understanding of UX/UI principles and how to display data for users at different levels in an organisation. Practical knowledge of cloud providers (AWS, Azure). Problem-solving skills including the ability to structure client challenges, perform analyses independently & deal with new issues in dynamic work environments. Ability to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and powerful manner. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Experience in a client-facing role is beneficial but not essential.
