Bid Manager to our Central Bid team. We operate a hybrid working arrangement and you can be based in Chepstow, Edinburgh, Woking, Manchester, Aberdeen or London (home working can be considered). We have flexible working opportunities, including part-time roles, to ensure a balance of family and working life. Key Responsibilities: Structure and lead significant, complex regional and international bid opportunities whilst taking overall responsibility for the coordination of the technical, commercial, financial, tax, key account, HSSEQ and group inputs into the bids. Take overall responsibility for tracking and reporting on pipeline activity, scheduling, deadlines and bid quality and suggest improvements to internal processes related to bid management in order to support continuous improvement. Ensure pre-qualification and tender documentation are prepared in accordance with the Company’s lMS and in consultation with appropriate teams. Produce accurate bid pricing for internal approval and to meet with bid requirements and negotiate contract terms following input from the commercial team. Provide project and contract handover information to project managers and support project managers with sales aftercare to clients. Coordinate our responses to call offs under our key client frameworks. Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns. Qualifications: You will have experience of leading complex multi-disciplinary bids, framework management, and providing expert bid coordination and management within a consulting, professional services, marine or construction organisation. Excellent bid writing skills with the ability to present written information in a compelling structured and balanced way.
