Skilled Careers are currently working with a market leading multi-disciplinary property consultancy structural and civil engineering company based in London. They currently require a strong Bid Manager to oversee the end-to-end bid process including producing winning proposals. Key Responsibilities
Assist Directors in identifying and developing new business opportunities. Monitor public sector framework sites. Lead on framework and bid submissions. Analyse tender documents to understand the needs of the client. Plan bid preparation to ensure that deadlines are met. Liaise with other managers to agree bid details. Prepare case studies and other reference materials. Edit or rewrite previous tenders to reuse relevant material. Collate materials provided by various departments and ensure a uniform tone across the overall document. Ensure that the bid is accurate and delivered on time. Build relationships with clients & partners. Evaluate existing partnerships and markets with an eye toward building on what works and changing what doesn't. Drive business development engagement and CRM management. Monitor BD approaches and follow ups. Manage key client relationships and work to build new ones. Work with Creative to expand the profile and reach of the company. Develop and manage sales, marketing, customer-service, and client relationship management teams. Track emerging market trends. Research and identify new markets. Identify sponsorship opportunities, including nonprofit engagement. Work with the creative team to implement their brand and social media initiatives. Identify potential competition opportunities, drive production of technical content and lead submission. Promote company culture.
