About the Role:
As the Commercial Bid Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end bid process, ensuring the preparation of competitive and compelling proposals that meet client requirements and support our business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the bid process from initial enquiry to final submission, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Develop and implement bid strategies, aligning with business objectives and client needs.
- Prioritise resources to maximise bid success.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, software, art, creative, and legal, to gather necessary information and input for bids.
- Manage the writing, review, and editing of bid content to ensure clarity, coherence, and compliance with client requirements.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of a library of bid documents, templates, and best practices.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and clients as needed.
- Conduct post-bid reviews and analysis to identify areas for improvement and share lessons learned.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to enhance bid competitiveness.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in bid management, preferably in the AV, location-based entertainment, or technology industries.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously.
- Experience in reading, understanding, commenting, and redlining commercial contracts.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint. Additional experience in Monday, Jira or similar task manaegement and workflow software.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively against tight deadlines.
- Experience in leading multidisciplinary, multinational teams.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
