Henry Martin is partnering with a Tier 1 main contractor to assist in their search for an experienced Bid Manager.

As a Bid Manager, you will play a pivotal role in securing major projects by leading the preparation, submission, and successful delivery of high-quality bids. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, ensuring that proposals are client-focused and aligned with the company's strategic goals.

Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented professional with a proven track record of managing successful bids in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure and excel in fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end bid process for multi-million-pound tenders. Develop winning strategies and compelling content tailored to client needs. Collaborate with internal teams, including pre-construction, design, commercial, and operational teams, to produce technically robust and commercially viable bids. Engage with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to understand requirements and expectations. Lead bid submissions, ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality standards, and client specifications. Coordinate post-submission reviews and feedback to enhance future bid performance. Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity. Key Requirements:

A strong background in bid management, ideally within a Tier 1 contractor. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, procurement routes, and contractual frameworks. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals. Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and priorities.
