We are currently seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join us and take on ownership for allpay’s full end to end bid process. Within this role you will build brilliant relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, to collaborate on submitting award winning bids.

This role will be based at our offices in Hereford, but individuals need to be comfortable with travel across the UK for events and client visits when not over Teams.

Key responsibilities:

Ensuring bids are optimised against evaluation criteria by managing, motivating, challenging and directing subject matter experts in the business effectively.

Understanding and communicating risks of each bid, liaising with teams across the business to ensure risks are understood/mitigated.

Proactively keep up to date with the competitive marketplace, working closely with market intelligence, sales and product to ensure competitive advantages and strategy are well understood and proposals are shaped around these areas.

Leading and motivating a small Bid team.

About You To be successful in this role you will need:

Demonstrable delivery of complex, high value Public Sector bids, preferably within the payments sector.

Proven experience in mentoring and developing team members, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to make data-driven decisions.

Self-motivated with a relentless drive for results and a strategic mindset.

Strong commercial acumen to understand the implications of pricing submissions.

The ability to build excellent working relationships across an array of stakeholders.

To be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

To be educated to degree level or equivalent.

APMP qualified to Practitioner level.
