About the role of Bid & Marketing Assistant We are looking for a Bid and Marketing assistant to join our existing team. We specialise in Cat A & Cat B refurbishment & fit out of Commercial spaces, historical restoration, pharmaceutical, education & high-end residential projects across London & the South East, ranging from values of 500,000 to 10m. You would be based in our City of London office with flexible working also available during the week, reporting into the Strategy Director. As Bid and Marketing Assistant, you will have many responsibilities and objectives. Some of the responsibilities you will have include working closely with the Pre-Construction team and other bid contributors to create bespoke bid responses, contributing to and regularly maintaining a library of high-quality tender responses to submission questions, graphics, photos etc., and assisting the marketing function of the business, including the creation of additional documents such as case studies and company presentations.
Responsibilities for Bid & Marketing Assistant
Create high quality, high scoring bid responses to best reflect the company's experience and abilities. Coordinate tender launches, mid-bid and settlement meetings, as appropriate. Ensure submissions accurately respond to the questions being posed. Ensure high standards of presentation are maintained. Meet tender submission deadlines. Assist with business marketing activities as and when required (website updates, brochures, photography bookings, leaflets, events promotion).
Requirements for Bid & Marketing Assistant
2-5 years Bid Writing/Proposals experience OR 2-5 years Bid Coordination experience. A graduate degree in one of the Humanities (English Language/Literature, Creative Writing, Journalism or Social Services etc). Familiar with Adobe InDesign & other Adobe packages such as Photoshop. Excellent writing, interpersonal & communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Great time management. Keen eye for detail. Remain calm under pressure. Above are the essential requirements; it is also desirable for the candidate to have some marketing skills or an interest in marketing or graphics, but this is not essential.
