Tender and bid portal ownership ensuring company details are up to date and appropriate opportunities are being harvested for consideration. Interrogate opportunities to identify scope of works and work with clients to refine and agree scope in line with business requirements. After in-house training, work towards being comfortable identifying and assessing commercial opportunity analysis and stakeholder reporting. Drive internal stakeholders to gather and provide supporting tender and bid information for the timely assembly of bids and tenders. Provide supplemental support to the compliance manager in pursuit of obtaining and maintaining business and industry-related accreditations. Provide detailed and solution competitive tender and bid responses. Interrogate lost tenders and bids for learning and development opportunities and trend analysis. Over time, create best practice tenders and bid responses including standard and repetitive information. Experience:
Ideally from the construction or environmental services sector, or this could be an ideal role for a proven project manager interested in bids or business development. Environmental services industry experience will be a distinct advantage, although candidates with extensive tender and bid response writing experience from alternative industries will be considered for shortlisting. Must have experience in tender and bid interrogation, analysis, and response compiling. Be comfortable working under occasional pressure and to tight deadlines. This is a relatively new role within the business, and the full scope will be defined around the successful applicant.
