We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Bid Team Leader to join our Sales team. The Bid Team Leader will manage the tendered and contracted business elements of the Fresenius Kabi and Calea portfolio and will line manage a team of Contract Co-Ordinators and Bid Writers. The position is full-time Monday - Friday and is based in Runcorn.

Fresenius Kabi is a global healthcare company that specialises in lifesaving medicines and technologies for infusion, transfusion and clinical nutrition. The company's products and services are used to help care for critically and chronically ill patients. Our product portfolio comprises a comprehensive range of I.V. generic drugs, infusion therapies and clinical nutrition products as well as the medical devices for administering these products.

Responsibilities Manage a team of Associate Contracts Co-ordinators, Contracts Co-ordinators and Bid Writers Lead on the tender process for all business streams and work closely with the senior Sales and Marketing management team to complete tender submissions Ensure a high standard and consistent approach is taken with all tenders to improve tender success Review the Contracts Advance tracker report daily to ensure all potential opportunities are captured Cover bid writing responsibilities, including drafting of responses, meeting stakeholders and updating responses Ensure the systems and processes are in place to ensure pricing accuracy for all customers Regularly review tender documentation to ensure accuracy and correct representation of Fresenius Kabi and Calea

Qualifications/experience Experience of managing complex public sector tenders, preferably NHS Degree or equivalent preferred Line management experience essential Senior sales/sales management experience
