The client is an award-winning main contractor with a turnover of circa £1bn. They operate across a range of sectors including commercial, residential, data centre, distribution, and healthcare projects. They are looking for a BIM Coordinator to join their team and take a key role in ensuring BIM is successfully adopted on their MEP projects. Duties

Support BIM managers with implementation, setup, and management of BIM protocols and tools. Chair initial kick-off workshop with consultants and supply chain to agree on BEP and appendices. Extract BIM data from project models, carry out data validation spot checks, and create required data deliverables and data drops at the required stages of the project. Manage the delivery and federation of models at all stages of the project lifecycle. Lead the design coordination process and support the project teams with regular workshops. Regularly review and update project BIM tools, ensuring parties can access the latest information. Carry out model audits, report, and monitor QA to ensure BEP and EIR compliance and adherence. Provide clear direction to the project team on the use of CDE and BIM tools. Experience

Working knowledge of MEP Revit. Good 3D technical proficiency producing models with Revit or equivalent. Excellent clash detection experience using Solibri and BIMcollab or equivalent. Experience auditing models for BEP compliance, understanding of LODs. Good understanding of the concept of Common Data Environments. Competent in MS Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Good 4D technical proficiency with Synchro, AstaBIM, or Navisworks.
