About the Role
Our team at the Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London, is seeking a highly motivated Bioinformatics research assistant with a BSc or MSc degree and interest in bioinformatics or computational biology. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of software infrastructure to support the analysis of liquid biopsy next-generation sequencing data for cancer diagnostics.
The ideal candidate will have a background in next-generation sequencing data analysis/cancer and/or genome research, or closely related fields. Desired criteria include knowledge of the application of statistical methods for robust data analysis of biological/genomic data. You will be able to work independently and interact well in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

We aim to develop novel tools for cancer diagnostics by developing improved methods and demonstrating clinical utility.
