Biology Teacher

to start in their school after the February half term. This Biology Teacher position is in a

Secondary School

specifically catering to individuals with learning difficulties. The role is a long term supply role and they are looking for a Biology Teacher to continue from February 2025 until the end of the academic year. This is a part time position for 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday. The school is looking for someone who can provide a supportive learning environment for their students and firmly believes that there should be no barriers to a child’s success. There are high standards of learning to ensure that every student has the chance to reach their full potential. Science Teacher Role: Good knowledge of the Biology Curriculum at a Secondary School level Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these Science Teacher Requirements: Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a Science or Biology Teacher in a Secondary School Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management A relevant Science-related degree is desirable SEND experience is desirable Class Act Teaching Services are an agency listed as an approved supplier on the Crown Commercial Service and are proud to be REC audited.
