Biology Teacher
An outstanding secondary school based in Hounslow is currently looking for a Biology teacher.
The school is looking for someone to start from 24th February on a long-term contract until July 2025. The school is willing to offer a permanent contract for the right person.
This position is full-time only. Working hours are from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Salary will match outer London MPS/UPS.
The school has available parking spaces.
Responsibilities:
Offer strong subject and pedagogical knowledge.
Engage in helping students develop knowledge of biology and its application.
Enable life-long skill development and practical skill application.
Play a key role in fostering a positive and safe environment, while challenging students to reach their full potential.
Embrace and support the ethos of both boarding and day school life.
The aim of the Science department is to provide all students with a wide range of experiences, skills, and knowledge that prepares them to intellectually and creatively interact and succeed in our ever-changing world.
Qualifications and Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A relevant degree (Science with Biology specialism or experience teaching Biology).
Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Approachable and encouraging.
