This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated educator to inspire students in their understanding of Biology at Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 based on experience. This role involves delivering engaging lessons that foster scientific inquiry and help students reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities Teaching : Deliver Biology lessons at KS3 and KS4, with the potential for KS5 teaching for experienced candidates. Lesson Planning : Design innovative and engaging lessons that align with the curriculum and make learning Biology exciting and accessible. Student Assessment : Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support growth and exam readiness. Curriculum Development : Collaborate with the Science Department to continually enhance the Biology curriculum, integrating best practices and current scientific findings. School Engagement : Actively participate in department meetings, contribute to the school’s initiatives, and support a positive and collaborative school culture. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in Biology or a related field. Experience teaching Biology at KS3 and KS4 is essential, and experience at KS5 is desirable. You should be passionate about Biology, skilled at breaking down complex concepts, and committed to helping students succeed.
