We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Biology Teacher to join an OFSTED-rated GOOD Secondary School in Wednesbury. This full-time position begins in January and runs until July, offering a fantastic opportunity to teach Biology up to Key Stage 5 while also covering Chemistry and Physics up to Key Stage 4. If you are a dedicated and passionate Secondary Teacher with excellent subject knowledge and behaviour management skills, this could be the perfect role for you. As a Biology Teacher, your responsibilities will include: Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum. Teaching Biology to Key Stage 5 and Chemistry and Physics to Key Stage 4. Marking and assessing students' work, providing constructive feedback. Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment to inspire pupil performance. Ensuring excellent classroom management and behaviour standards. Attending departmental meetings and contributing to curriculum development. Required Skills and Experience Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT). Proven experience as a Secondary Teacher, ideally in a Secondary School setting. Excellent subject knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. A passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for learning. Benefits of Working as a Biology Teacher for Flourish Education Competitive daily rate of £160 - £220, equating to £31,200 - £42,900 per annum (based on full-time work). The option of PAYE or Umbrella. Holiday pay accrued at 12.07% for PAYE candidates. Pension contributions.
