Biology Teacher

to start as soon as possible for an ongoing sickness cover. The school is looking for a Biology Teacher who can join their teaching staff for an ongoing supply role and take on the full teaching responsibilities. This Secondary School, which is part of a multi-academy trust, aims to ensure that all students reach their full potential. Biology Teacher Role: Good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Science curriculum with a specialism in Biology Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to improve their learning and prepare for exams Compliance with the school's policies and the reliable implementation of these Biology Teacher Requirements: Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification Recent mainstream school-based experience as a Biology Teacher or General Science Teacher in a Secondary School Strong classroom and behaviour management A relevant Science-related degree is desirable SEND experience is desirable Why Step Teachers?
