This Biomedical Science position is suitable for a qualified Senior Biomedical Scientist - Mohs to apply on a locum basis to start as a locum with a pay of £55 - £60 P/H (3-5 days per week optional).
Beneficial criteria to help be successful in this BMS role include the following:
Duties are as follows:
Carry out Mohs technical procedures (tissue preparation, inking, orientation, frozen section cutting, staining) intraoperatively on samples of fresh tissue to assist the clinicians with the diagnosis of disease and monitoring the treatment of patients.
Assist in the provision of reliable and accurate analytical data for the Trust, in accordance with ISO 15189 standards.
To represent both Histopathology and Dermatology at meetings and updates involving the Mohs technique.
