Blockchain Project Manager

(aka The Distributed Systems Leader) to manage and deliver blockchain projects that transform industries and create meaningful impact.

As a Blockchain Project Manager at

our client , you'll work closely with blockchain developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure that blockchain projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic goals. Whether it's coordinating the development of a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform, a tokenization project, or enterprise blockchain solutions, you'll play a key role in driving successful blockchain initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Blockchain Projects from Start to Finish:

Lead and manage blockchain projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to development, testing, and deployment. You'll ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet business objectives.

Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams:

Work closely with blockchain developers, software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration. You'll coordinate efforts across teams, manage resources, and maintain clear communication to ensure alignment with project goals.

Develop and Track Project Plans:

Create detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones. You'll monitor progress, identify potential risks, and proactively manage any issues that arise to ensure successful project delivery.

Stakeholder Management and Reporting:

Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. You'll provide regular updates on project progress, prepare detailed reports, and ensure that stakeholders are informed of key decisions and developments.

Budget and Resource Management:

Manage project budgets, track costs, and allocate resources effectively to ensure that projects are delivered within financial constraints. You'll make data-driven decisions to optimize project outcomes and resource allocation.

Ensure Compliance and Security Standards:

Ensure that all blockchain projects comply with industry regulations and security best practices. You'll work with legal, security, and compliance teams to ensure that blockchain systems are secure and meet all regulatory requirements.

Lead Blockchain Innovation Initiatives:

Stay informed on the latest trends and developments in blockchain technology. You'll spearhead innovation initiatives, identify new opportunities for blockchain use cases, and propose solutions that leverage blockchain to drive business value.

Requirements

Required Skills:

Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology Expertise:

Deep understanding of blockchain technology, including decentralized systems, smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, and tokenization. You're experienced in managing blockchain projects for enterprise or public blockchain environments.

Project Management Proficiency:

Proven experience in managing projects using methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall. You have strong skills in planning, tracking, risk management, and resource allocation to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams, including developers, product managers, business stakeholders, and external partners. You can communicate complex blockchain concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Budgeting and Resource Management:

Strong experience managing project budgets and resources. You're skilled at balancing financial constraints with project goals, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to deliver successful outcomes.

Stakeholder Communication:

Excellent communication and presentation skills. You can articulate project status, risks, and outcomes clearly and confidently to both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Blockchain Technology, or a related field.

Equivalent experience in blockchain project management is also highly valued.

Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or Scrum Master are a plus.

Experience Requirements:

3+ years of experience in project management,

with hands-on experience managing blockchain or decentralized technology projects.

Proven track record of delivering successful blockchain projects, including smart contract platforms, DeFi, or enterprise blockchain solutions.

Experience working with blockchain development tools and platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, or Corda is highly desirable.
