About Us Cloch Housing Association has been at the heart of the community for over 55 years, providing high-quality homes and services to those who need them most. Our core values are: Be Positive Be Better Be Kind Be Responsible The Role Our meetings take place online via MS Teams and as a member of our Board, you’ll help guide the strategic direction of the Association, ensuring we meet our objectives while staying true to our values. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your skills and insights to a dynamic team, influencing decisions on housing provision, community investment, and sustainability. Who Should Apply? We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. You don’t need to have prior board experience - just a commitment to our mission and a willingness to learn. We value diverse perspectives and encourage applications from anyone. We’re seeking individuals with skills in areas such as: Housing or property management Finance, legal or governance Community development Strategic planning or risk management IT or Cyber Security Sustainability and Environmental initiatives What’s In It For You? Access training and development opportunities to support your role. Time Commitment and Support A table of estimated annual time commitment is included below. Training and induction will be provided, and reasonable expenses will be reimbursed. Activity Time Attendance at up to 8 regular online meetings of the Board 16 hrs Reading and preparation for Board meetings 16 hrs Attendance at up to 4 sub-committee meetings online 8 hrs Reading and preparation for sub-committee meetings 8 hrs Attendance at annual planning and review events (including individual review meeting) 10 hrs Attendance at openings and site visits varies Attendance at internal briefing and training events 8 hrs External Training and conference attendance 2 – 3 days Total 80+ hours How to Apply If you’re interested in joining our Board and contributing to the success of Cloch Housing Association, we’d love to hear from you!
