Following their recent investment, they are looking for a BOAS qualified Boiler Maintenance Engineer to join their well-established engineering team. The company has multiple sites within the organization and offers opportunities for employees to train both internally and externally to become the best engineer possible. Role & Responsibilities: Responsible for day-to-day running of the utility processes, improving and maintaining areas of responsibility. Operate and maintain the utility processes, such as but not limited to Steam Boiler/Generators, Air Compressors, and associated equipment and processes. Drive improvement solutions from start to completion. Effectively communicate with all members of the operations team including engineering, production, safety, and quality teams. Input into engineering maintenance strategy to eradicate breakdowns. Ensure improvements are sustainable, share knowledge with all team members, and update engineering standards and maintenance. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: BOAS qualified is ESSENTIAL for this role. Completed a recognized engineering apprenticeship. Qualified to ONC/HND and NVQ3 or equivalent. Understanding and experience of Steam Boilers, Steam Generators, Air Compressors, and associated equipment and processes. Ideally worked in a FMCG / Food-related industry.
